4 Generations

I loved being a part of this really special shoot.  It was wonderful documenting 4 generations of this lovely family.  Such a great idea!

Shelley and David

My friend Paul, who lives in San Diego, called me up and asked if I would assist him with his sister’s wedding this past August.  I obviously jumped at the chance (come on, it’s San Diego!)  and I’m so glad I did.   Working with Paul on  this wedding was maybe one of the best shooting experiences of my life.  I was so welcomed by his family and so appreciated, plus there was just so much love swirling around, it was palpable.   The wedding was at the aptly names Darlington House in La Jolla.  This place is amazing- there is a photo opportunity around every corner.  The wallpaper alone inspired me!  Both the wedding and reception were at this location, but we did sneak of  to get some beach shots,  I’m so grateful because these are my favorite shots.   So thank you Paul, Shelley and David for this amazing experience- it will always be special to me.

Look at the wallpaper!  I spent most of my time before the wedding with Shelly, lucky me!And, of course, we can not forget the groom.I love how the food matched the decor!  The food, by the way, was amazing.I’m especially enchanted by this little purple amuse bouche.  I never thought I would ever have the opportunity to type “amuse bouche” so this is very exciting for me.Ahhhhhhhh

Sweet Sixteen!

Sarah celebrated her sweet sixteen with all of her friends at an afternoon tea at the Phoenician.  It was a very special day for Sarah and her family and I was  honored to be there to capture it.  It was so much fun working with Sarah, she is mature beyond her years and is such a respectful, intelligent young woman.   Oh, and not to mention gorgeous, take a look for yourself.

Sarah’s mom had this beautiful cake made for her, each layer represented something special. The delicious details. All of the girls enjoying the company and tea service.

And finally, celebrating with friends and cake.

The Young Family

I had the privilege of photographing the lovely Young family this past week.  The best part was that I was able to get my hands on baby Ace for more pictures!

I now present the happiest baby on earth, and possibly the cutest! And we can’t forget about Buster!

The Cerini Girls

I met my dear friend Cynthia and her sister at the park for some family portraits.  Cynthia and I have known each other since high school.  We used to spend endless afternoons floating in the pool, listening to Broadway musicals and styling each others hair.  Life was so hard back then.  I don’t see her nearly as often these days, but it’s great when I do and now I get to photograph her ADORABLE daughters!

Little Emily (I like to think I had a little something to do with the name:)), I promise she is real and not a doll.  Look at her face!!!!Baby sister Chiara.  She’s the introspective one.  Mama and her girls. Now on to Cynthia’s sister and her lovely family.Crazy sisters!
